I'm sure my son will be upset with me for doing this, but right now he needs some help. Last weekend he was physically assaulted which left him with serious injuries that required emergency trauma surgery. He was left with his lower jaw bone "split in two", along with his gums and teeth split and shoved back which required the surgeon to put in a arch bar plate and screws along with wires in his gums to align and keep his teeth in place. As you may suspect he is in a lot of pain right now and will require some time off of work, along with not having health insurance, his medical bills will be quite extensive which include trauma surgery, hospital stay, and follow up care. As a mama I am thankful he is not worse. I don't want to discuss what happened or any negative comments about the situation as it is an ongoing investigation. Right now I want to try to help him through this tough time. His recovery is expected to be 6-8 weeks. If you can donate please do so, anything no matter the amount will help.
