Hello everyone,
This winter, I’m setting out on a journey that’s been calling to me for years — one that blends travel, healing, and self-discovery. On December 14th, I’ll board a plane to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I’ll spend two months studying at Sunshine Massage School, one of the most respected centers for traditional Thai bodywork. My training is between December 22nd and February 20th and will completely immerse me in the art, philosophy, and rhythm of Thai Massage.
This is not just a journey — it's a chance to learn an old healing art where it originated.
To sit at the feet of teachers who come with generations of wisdom.
In order to reconnect with my own purpose — helping others to gain ease, grounding, and balance in their bodies.
Over the past few years, I’ve found myself increasingly drawn toward healing work. I’ve seen and experienced how a simple act of care — a stretch, a breath, a touch offered with intention — can shift someone’s entire day.
I have also discovered how much weight our bodies carry on our behalf: the stress, the grief, the hope. And how when we allow them room and recognition, something profound unfolds — release, connection, and healing.
Thai Massage is the next step on that path in the natural order of things. It's not a technique — it's a lexicon of love. It teaches that healing is not a one-way process between giver and receiver, but rather that both are changed in the process.
I’ve worked hard to make this dream possible — saving what I can, paying my deposit, booking my flight, and securing lodging. But I still need help covering the rest of my school and living expenses while I’m there.
