Help Brandon Repair His Funny Bone (His Arm)
Donation protected
This is my best bud, Brandon. He's a great guy. Apart from being one of the funniest, most caring, and genuine people I've ever met, he's also an incredibly hard worker. On top of working as a contributing editor for Byline Houston, he also works a job as a bartender at Petrol Station, and dedicates his spare time to freelance work and producing podcasts around Houston. The man really has a hustle on him.
Recently, during a performance with Doomsday Wrestling, Brandon unfortunately broke two bones in his right arm in an accident. Brandon is uninsured, and despite immediately going to the ER, he was told he had to wait two days just to set an appointment to see an orthopedist. The appointment was set nearly an entire week after the accident just for the doctor to tell Brandon he'd need surgery and would, again, have to wait until he could set an appointment for the procedure.
During this prolonged ordeal, Brandon has been in constant pain and is unable to work. Between monthly bills and medical costs, he understandably has found himself in a difficult financial bind.
So after some consideration and with the help of some friends, I've decided to open up this GoFundMe with a goal of $3500, in hopes that other friends and family will join us in an effort to help Brandon get through what will be a tough journey through treatment and recovery.
Here's a breakdown to help understand why we reached this amount and what expenses the donations will be supplementing:
$2300 for medical expenses.
$800 for rent over the next two months.
$400 monthly bills.
Of course, anything helps and would be much appreciated. I'd like to extend my gratitude in advance to anyone who considers pitching in.
Thanks, ya'll!
