Hi, my name is Steffani Constantino and I created this GoFundme on behalf of Brandon Jesmain.
Brandon is 21 years old and fell ill with COVID in March of 2021. In May of 2021, he was diagnosed with myocarditis. He lost the mussel mass in his legs and he wasn’t able to walk. This resulted in a 3 month long hospital stay. Brandon then started having seizures, and would randomly pass out. His heart rate was extremely erratic and he was then diagnosed with P.O.T.S. (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) by his cardiologist.
He has been in and out of the hospital for the past two and a half years, with some visits lasting months at a time.
Unfortunately Brandon has been denied disability, but he is continuing to fight for approval. Any additional information to help him with this is very much appreciated.
Due to Brandon’s constantly high blood pressure, extreme chest pain, & reoccurring seizures, he was brought to Boston Massachusetts General Hospital.
He is currently hospitalized in Boston and has been for the past month.
He has recently been diagnosed with F.N.D. (Functional Neurological Disorder) This causes dissociative seizures, and prevents his brain from sending messages to certain parts of his body. This affects his ability to eat, walk, sleep, etc.
Brandon is currently waiting to be accepted into a rehabilitation facility in New York that specializes in this disease.
Brandon’s life has turned completely upside down. He wants nothing more than to be independent again.
Thankfully Brandon’s landlord has been very understanding in the matter, and has agreed to letting Brandon keep his apartment. This is extremely important, as Brandon will be able to return home after completing his rehabilitation.
However, Brandon still owes rent to his landlord and will need to continue with payments.
Donations will go to Brandon’s medical bills, his landlord, and some of his personal bills.
We are asking to PLEASE help Brandon. ANY help is greatly appreciated, and we can NOT thank you enough.
