Hello, All!

 

My name is Brandon Evan Moulden, and I am a singer, songwriter, musician and independent artist based out of Philadelphia, PA!

 

Music has always been a substantial part of my life, so I had no choice but to accept the call. Coming from a musical family, I’ve always been drawn to music, no matter the style. My proclivity for music from a young age prompted me to sing in church choir and take piano and music theory lessons. Looking to build upon these foundations, I continued my music education at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance as a Jazz Studies - Vocal Performance major.

 

Since then, not only have I had the chance to lead my own band, but I have also had the opportunity to create and share the stage with Temple University’s Jazz Lab Band, Vertical Current, Elijah J Thomas, Ginger Coyle, Josh Collins, Angie Greco, Shelia "Lee Mo" Moser, Rhodney Miller, Nicky Wood, Raw Beauty and Brittanie Thomas, among others.

 

In September 2018, I released my debut EP, BRIDGES, followed by singles "Circles " (September 2020) and "Same Pain " (August 2021). In November 2021, I also provided jazz crooner/big band style vocals for DoorDash’s Holiday commercial “Perfect Timing .”

 

Now, I am looking to share my debut album! This project, co-produced with my brother, multi-instrumentalist, educator, arranger and composer Elijah J Thomas, is a beautiful collection of jazz standards, gems and originals crafted as an ode to the beauty and the blues of the nighttime. Joining me on the ride are a phenomenally sensitive and virtuosic group of musicians:

I am incredibly excited to share this project with you from my heart to your ears, but to do so, I will need your help! As an independent artist, I have had to take on many responsibilities and coordinate tasks that an artist on a major label might not have to deal with. These tasks can build up financially after a while. This includes covering studio expenses (recording, mixing and mastering), copyrights, licenses, album art design, printing physical copies, distribution, marketing, etc. I know this is quite the list, but with your help, this album can come to fruition.

 

Of course, I only ask that you donate what you can. It will make for a better final product and be greatly appreciated.
