On December 31, 2024, Brandon’s life changed forever when he became the victim of a violent crime in Winston-Salem, NC. His shooter intended to cause serious harm but God had other plans. Brandon survived a spinal cord injury that left him in the ICU for more than two months. Since that day, he has faced every challenge with courage, determination, and unwavering faith. With the constant love and care of his mother and sister, Brandon continues his recovery journey one day at a time.
Today, mobility is one of Brandon’s biggest challenges. There are only two transportation services that travel to his home, and they’re limited to medical appointments. Every weekly doctor and therapy appointment requires an ambulance transport, which is not only costly but also emotionally draining. Because of this, Brandon hasn’t been able to attend church, see friends, or participate in any family or community events. A wheelchair-accessible van would be a lifeline, giving him the ability to safely travel to therapy, church, and social outings, and most importantly, to experience a sense of independence and freedom again.
We’re raising funds to purchase a reliable, wheelchair-accessible van that can safely transport Brandon wherever he needs to go. Your gift will directly help improve his quality of life and allow him to reconnect with the world beyond his home. Every prayer, every donation, and every share brings Brandon one step closer to that goal. From our family to yours, thank you for your love, kindness, and belief in what faith and community can do together.
