My name is Brandon, and I live in Whispering Pines in George County, MS. Recently, I went to help a friend fix their truck, and what happened next changed everything. I had jacked the truck up and put a jack stand underneath for support, but I didn’t realize the emergency brake was engaged. As I crawled underneath to check things out, the truck suddenly started rolling and came off the jack stand, landing right on top of me. It was terrifying—I truly thought it might be the end. The truck was so heavy, and I used what little breath I had to scream for help. After several desperate calls, someone finally heard me and managed to get the jack back under the truck to lift it off me. It was almost too late, but I’m grateful to be here today.

Now, my left side is extremely sore, and I have a fractured chest plate and possibly a broken rib. I can barely use my left side, and everyday tasks have become a struggle. I’m not asking for much—just enough to help me get by until I’m healed and able to get back to work.
