Help Brandon Rebuild After Hurricane Milton
Donation protected
My name is Lizzy Milano. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Brandon for the past two years while working closely with him at the same organization, and in the time I’ve known him, I’ve witnessed what a remarkable person he is. He’s always been incredibly dedicated to his work, puts others before himself, and no matter the challenges he faces, he never loses that bright, infectious smile. He’s the kind of person who lights up a room with his positivity and kindness.
But in the past few weeks, Brandon has endured unimaginable hardships.
First, Brandon unexpectedly lost his brother. In the midst of his grief, he stepped up in a way that speaks volumes about his character. Without hesitation, he opened his home to his niece and nephew, determined to keep them from entering the foster care system. He took on this enormous responsibility without a second thought, putting the needs of those kids above his own heartbreak.
And then, just last week, tragedy struck again. Hurricane Milton devastated Brandon’s home and both of his vehicles. The flooding and roof damage have left his home unlivable, and his cars are completely totaled. Now, on top of everything else, he’s faced with the daunting task of starting over—paying for hotel stays, Uber rides to work, and managing the growing responsibilities he already had on his shoulders.
Brandon has always been fiercely independent and self-sufficient, and it’s taken a lot for him to agree to let this fundraiser be created. Unfortunately, despite exhausting every other resource, FEMA has only been able to provide limited food assistance, and the rest of the burden falls on him.
So, I’m reaching out on his behalf, asking for help. These funds will go towards the costs he’s already had to pay towards hotel stays, towards down payments on a new vehicle and home/condo. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, or even just share this page, it would mean the world to Brandon as he tries to rebuild his life and keep his family together. Every bit of support helps lift some of the weight off his shoulders.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping a truly deserving person get back on his feet. Your kindness means more than words can express.
