Help Brandon Price Fight Leukemia

    Thank you for visiting this page which I have created for a very dear friend of mine, Lura Price, and her family. Recently she has went through some hardships that could cripple the strongest of people, yet she continues to stay strong for her family. Brandon, her 18 yr old son was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which has put a tremendous strain on everyone. The type of AML he was diagnosed with is very aggressive. Brandon was flown from Union hospital in Elkton to John Hopkins in Baltimore on November 16th, they received the serious diagnosis on the 17th, and started a very invasive chemo treatment immediately. 

  Spending each day by her sons side, day in and out, has deprived her the pleasure of much needed sleep, decent meals, or quality time with her fiancé, Kevin, and their three other sons Shawn, Mikey, and Jarad. Due to her constant need to be by Brandons side, it has caused many financial hardships. They went from two incomes to one, and Kevin has been working so hard to provide for their family. However, he is now paying Lura’s health insurance premiums for their family, the medical bills are rolling in, and the gas, tolls, and parking fees driving to John Hopkins every day, on top of household bills are beginning to make it very hard on him financially.
