Help Brandon Achieve His Dream: Support His Journey with The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps

Our son, Brandon, has always had a passion for music, and his dreams of making a career out of it are now within reach! Since he was 5 years old, Brandon has been captivated by the power of music and has worked tirelessly to improve his skills. He’s been on an incredible journey, and we’re thrilled to share that he’s reached an amazing milestone.

This past fall, Brandon joined the Millennium High School marching band, where he played the trumpet. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to every practice, always showing up early and constantly striving to improve both his marching and playing. His hard work paid off, and by December, his music coach encouraged him to audition for The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps.

What started as an audition for experience soon turned into something much more extraordinary. Brandon was invited back for not one, but two call-backs, and after the second, The Academy offered him a contract to march with them for the 2025 season!

This is a life-changing opportunity for Brandon. The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps will give him the chance to travel across the United States this summer, competing in some of the country’s most prestigious competitions. This contract is not just a chance to perform, but an opportunity for Brandon to refine his marching and trumpet skills, develop responsibility, foster teamwork, and build an impressive resume for his future music career.

We are beyond proud of Brandon’s accomplishments so far, and we’re excited to see where this path will take him. However, in order for Brandon to make this dream a reality, we need your support.

How You Can Help:

Brandon will be traveling with The Academy from the end of May through August, and while we will miss him deeply, this experience will be invaluable for his growth as a musician. The expenses associated with this opportunity, including travel, lodging, and equipment, are significant.
