Help Brandon Lierman Recover from Severe Accident
Donation protected
My name is Jon and I am looking for help for my friend Brandon Lierman, a 43-year-old father of one and husband to a breast cancer survivor.
Brandon was traveling on his motorcycle to work on the morning of July 30th, and a vehicle wrongly pulled out in front of him on the highway. Due to the loose gravel on the highway, his reaction caused the motorcycle to lay down and slide on the left side right into this vehicle. Due to his injuries, he was life-flighted directly from the scene to the nearest trauma hospital in Sioux City, 60 miles away.
This accident caused multiple injuries, including a broken femur and ankle on his left side, lateral tibia (shinbone) on his right side, pelvis, fractured scapula (shoulder blade), fractured vertebrae, multiple ribs, and a concussion.
After multiple surgeries on his legs and pelvis, he is confined to a hospital bed for the foreseeable future.
Insurance has denied his transfer to a long-term acute therapy facility. It has been a challenge finding ways to bring him closer to home.
Brandon is well known around his community in Beemer and currently lives in his trailer house while he and his family put every penny into finishing his greatest project, their forever home. He had this farmhouse moved last May, 7 miles onto his Beemer property to remodel into the perfect home for them far into their golden years.
I am asking for help for him and his family with medical expenses. His wife Sarah, a 2022 breast cancer survivor, is now working two jobs to help with the financial burden.
With your help, these donations will directly impact this wonderful family and help get Brandon home.
