While planning to see his daughter-in-law deliver a sermon at her church and spend some time with his grandchildren, my father unfortunately fell ill on Sunday, July 13th, and would later pass away the same day at the Mobile Infirmary. Davide Wilson was a very simple man who loved his family, supported his children and grandchildren, and cared deeply for his wife.
He was full of life and incredibly generous. After finally retiring, my dad was planning to move to Mississippi to be closer to his grandchildren, his sons, and his daughter-in-law. With his unexpected passing, we’re working on securing the funds to provide a proper burial with his family that has gone on before him.
I’ve always been one to work hard and ask for help as a last resort (one trait that annoyed my dad to no end), but I now find myself as his oldest son having to pay for his final arrangements. I’m so grateful to the people that have already helped me and to the funeral home’s support in this time. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would help with the costs of his homegoing service and securing his final resting place. If you do not have to give, please feel free to share on your social media pages.
Thank you so much,
Brandon Wilson (Glenn’s “Big Boy”)
