Hi everyone,

I’m Caitlin, Brandons girlfriend. In January of 2024, Brandon had a terrible work accident. He was crushed between the cab and the bed of a truck. He was extremely lucky to come out of the situation alive. The accident left him with significant bruising and lasting pain that he has been battling every day since.

This past Monday, September 8th, while simply trying to put on his work boots, Brandon bent over and his back gave out. The pain was so severe that he lost the ability to stand or walk. Somehow, he managed to crawl to his truck and drive himself to the emergency room in absolute agony.

After undergoing an MRI, Brandon was told he has two bulging discs in his back. Since then, he has been in the hospital, receiving pain management and physical therapy. Unfortunately, his progress has been slow, and surgery may soon become the only option.

Adding to the stress, his workers’ compensation claim was denied, leaving him without financial support during this incredibly difficult time. We don’t know when he will be able to return to work, and the bills continue to pile up while he’s stuck in the hospital, fighting through pain and uncertainty.

If you know Brandon, you know he is incredibly active and full of life. He loves mountain biking, riding at the skate park with his son, and taking on road races. The thought of not being able to do these things—or chase after the life he loves—has been devastating.
