On Monday February 23, 2026, a close friend Brandon Lee was working a rodeo and was caught in the back pen by a bull, he was hooked and pend between the bull and a gate until they could get the bull off him. He was taken to University Hospital with two broken ribs, a punctured lung and laceration to his left eye. He was admitted into ICU with a chest tube two broken ribs and stitches in his eye lid.
Brandon has been part of our Riding on Faith Rodeo family for 9 years, he has worked both ends of the arena and the arena itself as the dragger, shows up earlier to help prepare the arena and insure this the best it can be for the constants and livestock, always the last one to leave with me to insure everything it good and ready for the next rodeo. Brand has been a firefighter and first responder for 25 years; he is a husband and father of 3 kids. He is always the first one to stand up to lend a hand to help and is always there when called. Now I am asking for anyone that can help to stand up and lets help Brandon through this recovery, it will take time to heal enough to get back to work for Brandon and I would like to help him and his family during this time to cover the out of pocket cost of the hospital and bills until he can get back to work.
Brandon never asks for help and isn’t going to now so I will ask for him from our rodeo community. Brandon has helped so many and committed over half his life to public service as a firefight and first responder, he has always been willing to put his life on the line to save lives and property of those he doesn’t even know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. God bless!
