Hi, my name is Shelby and this is about my husband Brandon.

Thursday May 22nd, my husband was at CDL school and had let me know that he was having a sharp pain behind his right eye all the way to the back of his head. We didn’t think anything of it and he came home and slept for a bit. I went to check on him and something wasn’t right. I took him to the ER and it turns out he was having a hemorrhagic stroke. He ended up at Saint Thomas- West and needed to have brain surgery to remove the blood and the clot that caused the stroke. He is only 38 and healthy. His neurosurgeon has linked it to an infection he had back in March called mastoiditis. And due to what we think was negligence from a different ER doctor, it caused this stroke. He will be in speech, occupational and physical therapy for a while as well. All of this has completely turned our world upside down.

Anything at this point would be helpful. And this isn’t the sort of thing we do at all.
