Brandon is my brother. He is 19 years old and has a chromosomal deletion that has left him unable to walk or talk, and with severe disabilities. Our family has always done everything we can to support him and make sure he can experience life to the fullest. One of Brandon’s favorite things in the world is going on car rides while listening to music—it calms him and brings him so much joy.
Last year, a tornado hit our area and destroyed our handicap van—the only way we could safely take Brandon to doctor appointments, haircuts, dinner, the park, and other important outings. Since then, we’ve been struggling to get him out of the house, and it’s been heartbreaking to see him miss out on so much, especially the car rides he loves.
On top of that, our family lost our business two years ago, which has made it even harder to afford a new van. We want Brandon to have the freedom and comfort he deserves, and to be able to participate in everyday life again. The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing a new handicap-accessible van for Brandon, so our family can safely transport him and regain some independence.
We are beyond grateful for any help you can offer. Your support means the world to us, and will make a real difference in Brandon’s life. Thank you for being part of our journey.
