Five months ago, Brandon’s life changed forever when he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest that caused an anoxic brain injury which is a complete lack of oxygen to the brain. Anoxic brain injuries can affect movement, speech, memory, and independence, and recovery is often long and unpredictable.
After weeks in a coma, Brandon survived against the odds and continues to work toward recovery through rehabilitation. He has endured multiple setbacks, including serious medical complications, but he continues to fight. While progress has been slow and hard-won, continued care and therapy remain essential.
Brandon and his family are now entering a new and critical phase: bringing Brandon home.
Brandon requires 24-hour care and ongoing neuro-rehabilitation, including physical, occupational, speech, and cognitive therapies. Insurance coverage for intensive rehabilitation is limited and may end with little notice, leaving families to shoulder overwhelming costs.
The estimated cost of bringing Brandon home with the long-term care and support he needs is over $250,000 per year. This includes in-home nursing care, therapy services, medical equipment, and daily assistance.
The family is deeply grateful to everyone who has supported Brandon so far. Past generosity made critical care and rehabilitation possible, and this fundraiser reflects the next phase of his recovery.
This fundraiser is intended to help create a safe, supportive home environment where Brandon can continue healing, maintain dignity, and remain present for his family, especially his 2-year-old daughter, Marleyna.
If you are able to help, whether by donating to or sharing this fundraiser, you are directly supporting Brandon’s ability to continue his recovery journey at home.
If you prefer, you can also donate directly via Venmo to Maureen at @MoRolli, or if you are in Canada, she can be e-transferred using [email redacted] Maureen's Gmail account. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
With gratitude,
