hi my loves ~ my name’s Brandi, i’m a 24-year-old trans woman living in Brooklyn. i’ve been self sufficient my entire life, asking for help is not in my nature, and i’ve always been the girl who struggles in silence but life has hit really hard this year. i’m at a point where i need community support to dig myself out of this hole and reach a stable place. i am currently working as a bartender which can cover living expenses if business is amazing, but my income has been super inconsistent and unreliable lately. i’ve been taking gigs on the side and looking for additional work nonstop but i haven’t had luck and i’m struggling to stay afloat. at the moment i owe ~$500 in back rent and need at least $1800 for first month’s and a security deposit to secure a new home. i’ve been couch surfing this past month and am desperately trying to get out of this situation so i can flourish and accomplish goals in my career and in my transition. thank you for your time, and i am forever grateful for any support.
