A vulnerable note from a first-time mom

My name is Brandi, and I am raising support for myself and my 6-month-old son, Weston. Becoming Weston’s mom has been the greatest joy of my life, but as a first-time mom, I have also been through a lot and am struggling to make ends meet while trying to get back on my feet and build a good future for him. Right now, I am doing everything I can to keep us stable, but it has been incredibly hard to keep up with the basic needs that keep our home safe and running.

The help we receive will go toward keeping the lights and water on, making sure we have food, and making sure Weston has the diapers and wipes he needs. I am also hoping to build a small emergency cushion so one setback does not put us even further behind. These are needs that continue week after week, and steady support would help me keep up with the essentials as I work toward stability for us.
