On January 7, 2025, my close friend, Branden Ray Anderson de la Looza, lost everything in the Palisades Fire. The apartment he rented, his belongings, and everything he had worked for—gone in the blink of an eye. Though he escaped unharmed, he now faces the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding his life from scratch.

Branden is a retired veteran from the navy and usmc infantry and is currently pursuing architecture at UCLA.
