Brain is my only fur baby and my two-year-old emotional support animal. He means everything to me. Lately, he’s been in a lot of pain because of gum disease and inflammation. His gums bleed a little, and his teeth are in bad shape. He tries to eat his wet food, but I can tell it hurts him, so he doesn’t eat enough. I’ve been waiting anxiously for the vet to call, and after a week, they finally did. Since Brain has a history of seizures, I’ve always been extra careful with his health, and thankfully, he’s stable now. But the vet told me he needs blood work, dental cleaning, and surgery because his gums are so inflamed. Wet food is much more expensive, and I’m doing my best to buy him what he needs, but as a 21-year-old, it’s hard to keep up with bills, vet expenses, and debt.

I’m feeling lost, sad, and sometimes just tired, but I’m not giving up on Brain. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward his dental surgery, cleaning, and the medicine he’ll need to recover at home.
