12 year old with muscle disease has a bucket list

Brady’s mom posted on her Facebook page that Brady had always wanted to go to a haunted house. Without her knowing, a friend of hers reached out to a well known investigative team in the area and mentioned my post to them. Well it went crazy from there. The team reached out to Brady’s mom and said they knew the owners of the 13th Gate Haunted House in Baton Rouge and that they would be getting in touch with him. The owner and a good friend of his called Mrs Larson and gave them a date to be there and for him to invite friends and family to be with him.

The article the team put on Facebook blew up, and people wanted Brady to make a bucket list of things he wanted to do. And a ton of people from other haunted houses invited him to go see their haunted houses. These people have also asked for the family to have a GoFundMe account set up, so they could help make his bucket list come true, and to help with the expense of the family purchasing a handicap accessible vehicle for when Brady is in a wheelchair full time, which will probably be within the next year or so.

Brady’s bucket list is not very long. One thing he is dying to have is a service dog. The expense of the training of a dog is so high. They have applied with a non-profit, but it will be about 3 years until a dog would be available. Another is Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. This child loves to be scared and gets the biggest kick out of it all. Halloween is his favorite time of the year. He would love for his entire front yard to be filled with scary things. As of right now that’s really it. He’s very simple and does not ask for much.

The family is very appreciative of all of the love already shown for their son. They definitely feel weird with us setting this page up, but so many people have asked, so they have agreed to go through with it.
