Update: Bradley is scheduled to be discharged today, 11/7/25, and is excited to return home. Any help during this time of transition will be greatly appreciated.

My brother-in-law, Bradley Hardy, had a traumatic accident Wednesday, October 16. After an initial trauma surgery, he is stable and in the ICU at ECU Health in Greenville. He will have an additional surgery today, Thursday, October 17 followed by an extensive hospital stay and likely additional surgeries over the next weeks and months.

Ashley will have to continue working while trying to be at the hospital as much as possible and spending time with Kenneth and Elana. This fundraiser is to help with the medical expenses and the additional expenses related to frequent travel to and from Greenville for Ashley.

Update from Ashley after Surgery 10/16/25:

Mandible was in 4 pieces. Has external hardware due to lack of blood flow. Will go back in on Tuesday to do maxillary.

From what I was told he has like wires holding everything together on the outside with like 4 screws. They cleaned everything the best they could for now. The palate and maxillary will be done Tuesday and be plates and screws. He lost the tip and half his tongue but will still be able to eat and swallow
