Help Brad with his medical bills

Hi all,

My name is Steve and I am asking for a little helping hand for a mate of mine that has over time, put his time, body and health aside for raising money for the KIDS FOUNDATION over the last 12 years.

Now more than ever, Brad needs OUR help.

Brad was first diagnosed with a brain tumour in 1998 and major surgery. He had to under go a second surgery in 2004 as the tumour had returned and grown. Number 3 in 2008, Brad had more surgery to try and take all the tumour but doctors were unable to remove all the Tumour. In 2009, Brad was in the Prince of Wales Hospital for 6 weeks undergoing Radiation treatment. Also in that year, Brad started a fund raising campaign for the KIDS FOUNDATION and raised $140.6K. This was the distance in miles for the Iron Man and Brad competed and completed that race.

He then went on to raise more money and started a massive bike ride 'BRAD FOSTER PORT TO PORT' this was a bike ride from Port Melbourne to Port Macquarie. He had 20 to 30 riders each year and raised an excess of 50k a year for the KIDS FOUNDATION for 10 years.

Brad was honoured with being made an Ambassador for the KIDS FOUNDATION along side some amazing people.

In 2013, Brad was diagnosed with Retroperitoneal Fibrosis (RPF) which only 1 in 200k may get this which needed another major surgery and needs medication still today to keep it at bay.

Brad has been doing it tough!! But he is tough. A real champion.

Which brings me to his issues today.

Brad recently had a tumour 13cm x 6cm from the top of his head. Pathology came back with results of a rare type of cancer which they did not completely remove.

Because of the radiation and previous operations, the only option now is for Brad to go back to the table and have surgery to remove it before it spreads any further.

So, this next op is to remove all areas on this scale to the bone where the cancer is and replace with grafting from his back. This requires attaching all blood cell veins etc. Estimated operation is 14 to 16 hours on the table. As you can imagine Brad is struggling financially through this time a there is a lot of time in hospital, recovery, loss of income for a long time and ongoing living and medical expenses.

With no income and the cost that will be incurred for Brad, he just wants to keep the home fires burning and peace of mind as he again goes through a gruelling event that he really doesn't deserve.

So now I'm just asking for a little help for a bloke that has always been there for others and would help any person or cause by putting him self on the line.
