Help Brad recover stress free

On September 14, Bradley was unexpectedly rushed to UVM Medical center by ambulance. He quickly lost the ability to speak and was very scared. It became clear that certainly something was very wrong. After multiple tests, it was revealed that he had bleeding on the brain. He was immediately admitted and moved to ICU. A CT scan later showed that Brad had an AVM (arteriovenous malformation). Another CT scan, an MRI and 2 angiograms later the doctors decided that he needed to have brain surgery. September 19, he went to have the AVM removed and the blood drained from him brain. He is currently out of his 4+ hour surgery and doctors believe, and are hopeful that it was successful. His speech is still very limited because of the swelling from the AVM rupture that was pushing on the part of his brain that controls his speech. He slowly is gaining some speech back and getting better everyday
Brad is currently working hard with speech pathologists and occupational therapists to get back to himself. The doctors expect him to fully regain his speech but it’s going to be a long road. He is expected to be out of work for at least 2 months. We all know Brad would never ask for help but while he is healing, we want to make sure he doesn’t have to worry about bills and can just focus on recovery. We are asking the community surrounding Brad for your support so he can worry about healing and getting back to his everyday life and family, rather than financial burden.
