Hello, my name is Brad Muhmel, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.
I was born with a heart condition called anomalous left main coronary artery. This artery is located in the wrong place, and as a result, I do not receive proper blood flow to my heart.
I started experiencing symptoms about ten years ago. I often have sharp chest pains and feel out of breath. I also get light-headed and dizzy at times, and sometimes black out (a condition called syncope).
After years of inadequate cardiology care, I have been blessed with a wonderful team at Methodist Hospital.
Healing my condition will require open-heart surgery in the near future. In the meantime, I am working reduced hours and have lots of medical expenses for doctor visits, tests, etc.
Money donated will go towards covering expenses leading up to and after surgery. Any amount you are able to donate would mean the world to me. If you aren’t able to contribute at this time, a share with family and friends would be greatly appreciated.
