Brad’s been fighting Chronic Lyme Disease and several coinfections for over 12 years. Convincing him to allow us to do this has been years in the making and all help is GREATLY appreciated. If you know him, you know he is always serving and thinking of his family and friends first, and fights this disease with amazing integrity despite how awful he has felt.
For those who don’t know, Lyme disease is an infection caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi. In many cases, it is successfully treated with oral antibiotics. In some patients, such as Brad who did not have a rash and was diagnosed late, symptoms persist and even worsen after treatment. Unfortunately, insurance does not provide coverage for treatment beyond oral antibiotics and prolonged antibiotic treatment is often unsuccessful and dangerous. This leaves these outlier patients to pay for care and further treatment out of pocket.
On a daily basis, Brad fights fatigue, brain fog, chronic joint pain, seizures, IBS, heart palpitations and malaise to name a few. Since 2021, Brad’s been receiving a week of treatment in Nashville at Biologix Center for Optimum Health, two times a year. Their approach is to give the body’s God-given immune system a boost with supplementation, phage therapy, and 40+ hours of supportive, personalized therapies. For the first time in years, Brad has finally found significant relief through this treatment plan and has returned several times, each with more progress. He now has a goal of returning just once a year (3-5 days) to stay on track. We’ve all been SO encouraged to see him improving and getting life back, one step at a time, and are grateful the treatment is working.
Which brings me to why I created this link! A week of treatment is $5,000 out of pocket plus $1,000 of ongoing supplements. This has been a long road for Brad and obviously a financial burden. I would love to bless him and his family (wife and two sweet girls) with two covered treatments to keep him healing. No one should have to live with this awful disease. If you know of someone who would enjoy giving, please feel free to share this link privately (not broadcasted on social media).
With love,
