Help Brad Fight Cancer: Support His Recovery
Donation protected
When one of us struggles, we all do. But when we rally around those who need us most, the world becomes a better place. Why? Because caring is contagious. Love is contagious. And coming to the rescue is truly inspiring. This is one of those moments.
Meet Brad Kinser, the dedicated manager of Buckskin Towing in Pagosa Springs. Back in December, Brad started having trouble swallowing. What seemed like a minor issue turned out to be something far more serious—esophageal cancer, located at the bottom of his esophagus near the stomach. Brad has faced this diagnosis with incredible courage. The doctors moved quickly, starting him on aggressive chemotherapy. The treatments hit hard, resulting in three emergency room visits. But Brad has fought valiantly and is now preparing for a major surgery.
The procedure will require Brad to stay in the hospital for 7 to 10 days, followed by a long recovery of 4 to 6 weeks, much of which will be spent away from work. His wife, Sarah, who works at the local hospital, will need to stay in a motel room in Colorado Springs during Brad’s surgery and much of his recovery. This illness has placed a tremendous financial burden on their family. Lost wages, travel expenses, and mounting medical bills have created a heavy strain during an already difficult time.
But this is where we can make a difference. This is our chance to shower Brad, Sarah, and their family with love and support. To remind them they are not alone. To help lift the weight of their struggle by rallying together as a community. Let’s ignite a light of hope in the midst of darkness. Every act of kindness counts. Every donation matters. Please join us in supporting Brad and Sarah as they face this battle. Your generosity can help ease their burden and show them just how much their community cares.
