Help Brad be with his family

Hi, my name is Shae and I am starting his fundraiser to help a family be together as much as possible.......

Brads wife Jess is due to give birth to their daughter in May. She has hypoplastic right heart syndrome but that's a very broad term that covers lots of things. Hers is that she has a small Right Ventricle due to Pulmonary Artesia which is when the pulmonary artery is closed stopping blood from reaching the lungs. This condition requires surgery a week after she is born, another when she is a few months old and a third when she turns 4.

Thanks to Australia being a pretty rad place, the surgery comes with minimal cost, BUT Brad and Jess live in Tasmania..... and the surgery and subsequent care is in Melbourne.

This means months of Jess being alone with their new born in Melbourne, while Brad is at home in Tassie working and worrying.

What I am hoping to do is raise enough money to help them afford the airfare for Brad to go between the 2 states as often as he can, to be with his girls without adding financial stress to their lives.

The money will also be able to be used for any unexpected expenses arising from this surgery and the ones to come.

As any parent knows, starting a family is hard enough, and doing it from different states with a sick child and no family living close by for support is unimaginable.
