Hello my name is Bre'Anah and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read this story. My mom and step dad (Brad and Alisa Beauregard) let go of fear and embraced the what if. They took a leap of faith. Hired an attorney, acquired all the necessary paperwork to become residents, bought a house with a rental ( passive income) and moved to Costa Rica. It’s been almost 3 years and they are still waiting on their residency. When they get approved, they will still have to pay an additional 800.00 to complete it. They also have not been able to return to states or been able to seek medical care. They both have lost a tremendous amount of weight due to a lack of food and the stress of it all. They can not legally work there but have been able to use their many talents to make a few dollars here and there. They bought a used car that end up being a lemon. Every mechanic claimed to not be able to fix the problem. They found termites in the cabinets and have not been able to remedy it as this cost as well. They also have a 20ft container in Colorado with all of their belongings that needs to be appropriated. They won't ask for help, but I will on their behalf. They ran out of money a long time ago but somehow manage to keep the electricity and water on. They’d appreciate your much needed help. Any monetary help will go towards food, back taxes, the eradication of the pests, air fare, the transport of their belongings along with any incurred fees it takes to make a 1,855 mile journey in a rented moving truck..... gas, hotel and food. I, a medically retired veteran have helped as much as I can but I can only do so much with a growing family of my own. Now I'm asking for your help. $5.00, $10.00, $20, $50, ANYTHING HELPS.
