Rest easy our sweet boy
*Update* Thank you so much everyone who has donated, reached out or shared this it truly means everything to us. Bowser is still fighting so hard, this morning the doctor called me and told me that he was sitting up right when she saw him & that he looked more hydrated giving her even more hope. They are recommending him seeing a specialist due to needing an iv of magnesium and phosphorus that they unfortunately cannot provide at their hospital. ❤️
Bowser, our sweet boy, is going through a lot right now. To those of you who have met him, I'm sure you know he means the world to us. He's been by my side since I was 19, Jess's side since she was 21. Whether you're a friend or a family member who has visited us and had the pleasure of knowing him, or a neighbor on our street who has seen him on our porch walking by, Bowser is a crucial part of our family and he needs all the love he can get right now.
Recently, Bowser suffered from a severe dehydration episode that landed him in the hospital. He's been there for five days, and while the vets have worked hard to rehydrate him, he's still not eating on his own. We're now trying a feeding tube to give him a fighting chance, and the doctors are also treating him for a possible pre-diabetic condition with insulin. The next 48 hours are critical for his recovery, and we're doing everything we can to help him pull through.
Any donation at this point will help dearly with Bowser's hospital care, feeding tube, and ongoing treatments. We whole heartedly appreciate any love, positive energy, prayers or support you can lend. We want more than anything to bring our little one home to his family. Thank you so much for considering helping Bowser—your kindness means the world to us.
