Bowie is a 15-20 year old chihuahua that I found malnourished in a parking lot three years ago. Since then, she has come so far—she’s got so much personality and character, and she’s the best cuddler. I can’t imagine my life without her, and she means the world to me.

Recently, Bowie started showing signs of having been over-bred in her past, and she was diagnosed with pyometria, a life-threatening infection in her uterus. The only way to save her is through emergency surgery. Because of her age and medical history, the surgery is very costly and risky, but I can’t bear to lose my sweet baby. She has already overcome so much, and I want to give her every chance to keep living her happy life. After losing Chyenne last week so suddenly to cancer, I just can’t bear another loss so soon.

The funds raised will go directly toward the deposit for her surgery, as well as her aftercare hospitalization and medication.
