8 month old sheltie Bounce had a sudden onset of vomiting and went down very rapidly over the course of a few hours. He was rushed to the Emergency Vet clinic where the initial diagnosis was a bowel obstruction. Abdominal xrays have not shown an obstruction. The working diagnosis, pending labwork, is possibly parvo (even though he had all of his puppy shots) and/or sepsis.

Bounce is extremely smart and loves everyone he meets. He is already alerting and he is in training as a medical alert service dog for me since Trey is now 9.5 years old.

i applied for Care Credit and the bill has already surpassed my balance and is nearly halfway through my brother’s Care Credit balance. My part time job that provides the financial extra cushion is closed currently and there is no back pay. My hospitalization for over a week in the spring and subsequent health issues that remain kept me from working last spring.

i appreciate any help that can be shared. I have donated to many fundraisers. It doesn’t feel right having to be on the asking side but that’s where I find myself.
