Help Bottle_Claus @ The Race Across America 2023

Everybody needs a Bottle_Claus and now Bottle_Claus needs you! Be a part of History and the Bottle_Claus Supporter Team!

Bottle_Claus aka Claus-Henning Schulke is an engineer, an athlete and has been a volunteer at the Berlin Marathon for over 25 years.

As a former runner, triathlete, Ironman participant and much more, he is also a passionate cyclist.

With achieving the first place at the Race Across Germany 2021 and 2022 he has qualified for the toughest bike race in the world - the Race Across America!

The RAAM will take place in June 2023 and for Claus to compete there, he needs a lot of support. Thus, he would be the first Berlin participant after 30 Years in the Race Across America. WOW!

One thing is already certain and clear, Claus is already registered as a participant and completes his daily training to go from 13 June 2023 at the Race Across America to the start to cover in less than 12 days 5000km once across America by bike. For this he needs a lot of support. Be a part of this incredible challenge and get exclusive insights into the preparation and implementation as a supporter.

For this purpose I, as his supporter, have started this fundraising campaign and hope that together we can help Claus to compete in the Race Across America 2023.

A total amount of about 125.000€ is needed. With this fundraising campaign at least the basic financing, like the registration at the Race Across America, the costs for the preparation (like the right training, already necessary equipment, team etc.) should be guaranteed.

What does he need so much money for?

In order for Claus to complete the Race Across America, he needs quite some equipment, which in his case means different bikes, tires, the right clothes, etc. He also needs the right food, medicine, a large team consisting of trainers, physio-therapists, route assistants, various equipment, travel and accommodation costs, and much more.

At the same time, Claus would like to support charity projects this way - especially for children and youth development as well as for water projects.

Als ehemaliger Läufer, Triathlet, vielfacher Ironman Teilnehmer u.v.m., ist er nicht zuletzt auch leidenschaftlicher Radsportler.

Für diesen Zeck habe ich, als seine Unterstützerin, diese Spendenaktion gestartet und hoffe sehr, dass wir gemeinsam Claus dazu verhelfen können, den Race Across America 2023 zu bestreiten.

Benötigt wird eine Gesamtsumme von ca 125.000€, wobei mit dieser Spendenaktion zumindest einmal die Basisfinanzierung, wie die Anmeldung beim Race Across America, die Kosten für die Vorbereitung (wie z.B. das richtige Training, bereits benötigte Equipment, Team etc.) garantieren soll.

Wofür wird so viel Geld benötigt?

Damit Claus das Race Across America absolvieren kann, benötigt er einiges an Ausrüstung, was in seinem Fall verschiedene Fahrräder, Reifen, die richtige Kleidung etc. bedeutet. Außerdem braucht er die richtige Nahrung, Medizin, ein großes Team, bestehend aus Trainern, Physioterapeuten, Streckenbegleitern, diverse Ausstattung, Reisekosten, Kosten für Unterkunft sowie vieles Weitere.

Gleichzeitig möchte Claus auf diesem Weg Charityprojekte unterstützen - insbesondere Kinder- und Jugendförderung sowie Wasserprojekte.
