Our dog Boss came into our lives right after my grandpa passed away, and he quickly became so much more than just a pet—he’s truly family. Boss has a way of making the saying “a dog’s a man’s best friend” feel so real. He always knows how to cheer us up when we’re feeling down, and his love and loyalty have helped us through some of our hardest days.

Recently, Boss got very sick and needed emergency surgery. We were able to save him, but the cost was much more than we ever expected. My parents did everything they could, but now we’re left with little to nothing afterwards. It’s been a really tough time for all of us, and we’re worried about how we’ll manage through the rest of the month and future.
