My baby boy Bosco had to have emergency surgery on Christmas because he ate a pine tree pit (nut) from the ground outside and it got stuck in his bowel and caused not only an obstruction, but also a perforation in his small intestine into his abdomen where he had leakage. He had to have 6 inches of his intestine resected and sewn back and everything cleaned out and he is currently stable and fighting through this.
