Help Borough Chocolates get back on their feet

Donation protected

Jessica Minghi has spent the past decade in restaurants and fine dining, and was abruptly laid off amidst the pandemic. Jessica had no income, living in New York, and started making chocolates in her small working studio in Brooklyn to support herself. That was the beginning of Borough Chocolates!

Jessica spent her life savings building out Borough Chocolates. A one woman run shop from chocolate production, to shipping and marketing. Borough Chocolates already has a great following. They were part of MTV Movie and TV Awards and have been reposted multiple times by celebrities enjoying her chocolates. Because of her great traction Jessica decided to open up her very own store front...

Tragically, last week Jessica walked into the building completely flooded by the fault of the Property Management. The Property Management is not covering any of this, and not claiming any responsibly. All of her raw materials to make the product, her machinery, custom packaging, and marketing material were destroyed. Leaving Borough Chocolates with no inventory to open, a mess to clean up, and back to ground zero. All energy is now devoted to this disaster, and away from her opening shop -- which was originally scheduled to be this week.

Let's help Borough Chocolates get back on their feet and be the success story we all want to see.
