Hi everyone,
I’m creating this GoFundMe for my dear friend Bori a beloved cashier at Metropolitan Market, who recently underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor near her optical nerve.
If you’ve ever shopped at the market, you might know her — she’s the one who always greets everyone with a warm smile, a kind word, and sometimes even a little song. She has such a beautiful voice and gentle spirit that brightens the day of everyone she meets.
A few months ago, Bori - who bravely fought cancer before, again began experiencing vision problems and headaches, and doctors discovered a tumor pressing on her optic area. She faced the diagnosis with incredible courage and underwent a difficult surgery to remove it. Thankfully, the operation was successful, but her recovery has been long and challenging and we don't know how many more sessions or recovery processes she would need! Too many I say! For such a bright and kind person!
Unfortunately, she now faces significant medical bills and time away from work as she heals and regains her strength. Bori has always been someone who gives freely of her kindness to others — now it’s our turn to give back to her.
Please consider donating whatever you can to help cover her medical costs and daily living expenses while she recovers. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help lighten her load and show her how much she’s loved and appreciated in our community!
Thank you so much for your compassion, generosity, and prayers for her healing.
With gratitude,
Chouchan
(on behalf of Bori!)
