Hello everyone, this is Boots, one of 13 cats in the family. Yes… 13 cats. I didn’t mean to have them all, but what can I do? I tried giving them up for adoption, but the shelters in the valley remain full. I also tried asking shelters from different cities, and all told me the same thing… “go to your local shelter.” A few places were suggested, but those places didn’t have room and some didnt answer the phone, so I just decided they could stay and make themselves at home where they will always have a roof over their heads and a meal.
Well, this cat right here is the ONLY one I voluntarily adopted! I went to our local
pet store and saw him behind the glass. Weeks passed by and he was still there. I dreamt that he escaped and was loose inside the store and then I found him and he let me pick him up. Well by the 4th week I went to the store and qualified to take him home. He was affectionate since the 1st day and even though he’s ill right now, he still gets up to cuddle. A few days ago I found him almost lifeless. I didn’t know what was happening to him so I rushed him over to the vet. He’s still being hospitalized in Mexico, and the vet says he needs a blood transfusion. I do not have pet insurance, so I’ll have to continue his treatments in Mex. Boots and our cat family appreciate you and your donations. Thank you and remember that anything helps.
