Help Boone Docks MMA get back to giving

We are Boone, NC’s only Mixed Martial arts gym offering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and other proven combat sports. Empowering kids ages 5 and up with confidence and skills to stand up for themselves, and giving our adults a place to get fit, find community, and play is our passion. We have served our little mountain community for 10 years, giving our members a place to make new friends, have a community and outlet for stress, and learn some great skills while they are at it.

On September 27th, our gym was completely destroyed by the unprecedented flooding in western North Carolina, washing away all the amazing things we are able to provide our members when they train with us. Those that train know that it is SO MUCH MORE than just learning a combat sport.. the mats are a place of self expression, overcoming adversity, and even learning about yourself.

With all of the devastation in our community, we want to get back up and running so that we can provide our members and the community at large a renewed sense of normalcy in this dark time for our area. Unfortunately, 9 months ago, we spent $20,000 upgrading our mats, flooring, and lighting (among other things) in our facility. With having spent so much, so recently, we are not in a financial position to jump right back in to rebuilding.

Our facility is rented, and it has largely been up to us to “fix” our space. We have already spent over 250 man-hours tearing all the mats and walls out, shoveling mud off of the floor, and pressure washing every surface possible to try and ready the facility for a rebuild. We have the sweat-equity and heart to push forwards, we just could use your help on the funding. Any donation amount is an amazing testament to the strength of our combat sports community, and will help get us back to a place where we can be the ones giving back!
