Help Boomer with his medical journey

Hi. I’m Julie. Although as most of you know me as Boomer Davis’s ex-wife and baby mama, I’m still one of his closest friends and have been involved with his medical struggles from the very beginning.

Boomer has been struggling for most of his adult life with chronic migraines, but over the last five years there has been a drastic change in his health. His local doctors referred him to the Mayo Clinic in 2023. There, after significant testing, they discovered damage to his brain that has been there for a few years. It is rare and very unique. Therefore, they are having a hard time diagnosing the cause and coming up with a successful treatment plan.

Boomer’s life has significantly changed. At 49 years-old, he has constant tremors, nausea, fatigue, imbalance, and migraines. He is unable to complete basic physical tasks that most men of his age are able to easily accomplish. The more physical the task, the worse the symptoms. For example, he can no longer mow his lawn or even drive.

He just returned from his twelfth trip to Mayo. The medical bills, as well as travel, have been adding up and have become crippling.

To know Boomer is to love him. He’s always been the guy that brings light to the room with his humor. When he was able, he was one of the first people in line to help others that needed anything. He was an amazing Dad when raising our daughter.

This gofundme process was a difficult decision to make since he is such a private person when it comes to his health and he is uncomfortable asking for help, but I know he would be grateful for any support.
