Boomer is a sweet dog who has been through a lot in his short life. After being given up by his previous owner, he spent six months in training before entering foster care. Unfortunately, his first foster experience was rough, and he was brought back. Another foster tried to help, but also struggled, leaving Boomer confused and protective of his things and space. Because of these behaviors, which are typical for his breed, he has "bit" a couple of fosters and is now on the fast track to being euthanized.

Despite these challenges, my wife Kristin and I decided to adopt Boomer and give him the loving, stable home he deserves. We have been approved to adopt him, but Boomer is currently in LA County, and the biggest challenge now is getting him safely to us. We want to make sure he has everything he needs to start his new life, including transportation, food, and support for his transition.
