Hi everyone- it's Lisa & I'm here to try & raise money for my fur baby Boo Boo's colon surgery. Boo Boo has been dealing with chronic constipation for the past year and has recently been diagnosed with Megacolon. He was put on medications to try to help him go, but unfortunately his colon has gotten so bad to the point he can't really defecate on his own. He will need a surgery called a subtotal colectomy. They remove the bad part of the colon and reattach what's left. This will be a life saving surgery. The only other option is euthanasia. Boo Boo is otherwise healthy and there's no reason to have to put him down just yet. He's about 10 years old & hopefully has some good years in him left. He's been with me 8 years so far and has been an absolute delight. He sleeps smushed right against my face every night (and snores in my ear). If you could find it in your heart to donate for his surgery Boo Boo & I would be forever grateful! The total cost is estimated to be around $5500 at Blue Pearl in Pittsburgh & unfortunately that is not in my budget.
