As we celebrate Bonnie-Grace's 24th birthday, she is embarking on a courageous and selfless journey to make a real difference in the lives of others. On the 26th of January she will be cutting off her beautiful long hair and wants to use it as an opportunity to support some fantastic causes.
While her hair will be donated to an organisation that creates wigs for cancer patients, all fundraising efforts will be given to ZONTA Central Coast for their study grants program.
ZONTA is a local organisation that supports students in need during their final years of school. ZONTA partners with NAISDA Dance College in kariong who support Indigenous students pursing higher dance education. Bonnie-grace would like to gift the first $1000 to a NAISDA Dance student.
Bonnie-Grace’s motivation : “I was inspired to do this because of the impact cancer had on my own life, and knowing that something as simple as shaving my head can have a profound effect on someone’s quality of life.
Similarly, both education and dance are huge parts of my life, and I’ve been immensely lucky in the opportunities I’ve been given. With your help, I have the chance to pay those opportunities forward to others. Having attended events hosted by ZONTA and NAISDA I can personally attest to their dedication and commitment to their studies.”
