Help Bonnie & Sunnie

Hi, My name is Robin. Last Sunday, 2 beautiful dogs were found running on the greenway near Park Road Park in Charlotte, NC. I agreed to take the dogs to try to find their owners. I have posted them on many websites and have not had any success finding their owners. They had no collars, are not microchipped and were very skinny. I think they may have been dumped. Both are very sweet and are a bonded pair. The larger of the two, I'm calling her Bonnie (she has a blue collar and it's Bonnie Blue :)), is injured. She is limping and will not put her foot to the ground. I was hoping rest and TLC would help but after a week, she is still in the same condition. I suspect that neither is spayed or UTD on any vacinations. I am willing to continue fostering (possibly adopting) but I cannont afford the vet bills to have them checked out and possible surgery for Bonnie if she has torn something. They are not longer hungry or in danger and I do not want to take them to the Shelter if at all possible. The shelter is full right now and I don't want them separated. If I can get them vetted, spayed and possibly some obedience training, I am happy to keep them until I can find a loving home or possibly adopt them. They are still young and are chewers and a little noisy but all in all very sweet.
