Help Save Bonnie the Cat
Yesterday in Richmond Green, Carlisle, Aisling’s beloved cat Bonnie was tragically hit by a car. After a loud bang, Bonnie came running into the house, struggling to breathe and bleeding from her mouth and nose. She was rushed straight to the vets, where it was confirmed that her jaw had been broken.
Bonnie is now undergoing emergency surgery. During the operation, she’ll be X-rayed to check for further internal injuries, and for now she is being fed through a tube. The cost of her treatment is expected to exceed £1,000 – a huge expense that this young family simply cannot afford upfront.
Aisling lives with her partner, their little boy (under 2), and their two cats, Bonnie and Boo. She works part-time as a teacher for children with special needs, and has always been someone who gives her time and love to others in need. Now, it’s her turn to receive that kindness back.
Even the smallest donation – as little as £1 – would make a world of difference to this family and help give Bonnie the best chance of recovery.
If there is any money left over after Bonnie’s care is paid for, it will either be donated to a local animal charity or used to help another family struggling with unexpected vet bills.
If you can donate, please do. And if not, sharing this page would mean so much.
Let’s rally around Aisling and help bring Bonnie home safe and well.❤️
