A Life-Changing Expedition in 2027

Hi! My name is Bonnie, I’m 13 years old, and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity - to take part in a 4-week expedition to Kenya in 2027 with a fantastic organisation called Camps International.

This program is all about making a real difference in communities and the environment, and I’m so excited (and determined!) to be part of it.

Why Am I Doing This?

I’ve always loved wildlife and dreamed of visiting counties and protecting our beautiful planet.

This expedition is a huge step toward that dream. It will give me hands-on experience working in communities, supporting conservation, and learning about other cultures. But I believe that change starts locally, which is why I’ve already started giving back in my own village.

One thing I'm really keen on is keeping my local environment and beaches clean. Throughout the summer I will be helping keep my local beach clean with beach cleans and providing bins at hot spots I've noticed gather lots of rubbish. I will be replacing these bins weekly.

To take part in this life-changing journey, I need to raise £5,190.

This will cover everything from travel and accommodation to resources that directly support the communities we’ll be working with in Kenya.
