Help Bonnie Get Her Life Back

Up until June 24, 2018, Bonnie, an 82 year old woman was self-sufficient, and independently took care of herself.  She still worked one day a week at the Reef Restaurant in Long Beach. However, she fell at work on the 24th and broke her pelvis. In October she fell again, breaking her left hip. After the surgery she was diagnosed with sepsis which almost killed her. Now she is fighting to get her life back! But she just found out her insurance will no longer pay for the skilled nursing facility or physical therapy she has been receiving because she is able to walk with a walker. However, in reality, she still can’t get out of bed or out of her wheelchair or even off the toilet without assistance, which is CRAZY! So they’re taking away the key tools she needs to get better, but I guess that is how insurance works these days. She needs a little more time in a skilled nursing facility and physical therapy so she can once again take care of herself.
