My name is Cindy, and this is my best friend Bonnie,

Now I know 2021 has been horrendous for so many, but it’s been particularly hard for Bonnie, earlier this year in May, the unimaginable happened, Bonnie’s world came crashing down, her little sister Emily was staying with her, and sadly Emily passed away while staying with Bonnie, she was only 25, and to make matters worse, Bonnie is the one who found her,

Bonnie required a lot of time off of work to go back to her home town in Victoria to be with her family, to help organise her little sisters funeral, and to also heal from the trauma, which used a lot of her annual and personal leave.

Bonnie eventually came back to work and was starting to get back into it when in September we were having lunch at work when her phone rang, it was Bonnie’s doctor giving the results of a pap smear, Bonnie was given the worst news imaginable, she gets told she has Cervical Cancer and that it’s inoperable, so she needs to start Chemo and Radiotherapy asap, honestly, what else could life throw at her, Bonnie has been off work since and is just about to exhaust all of her annual and personal leave, and the bills and living expenses don’t stop for cancer, so I’m hoping we can all chip in and help one of the most beautiful people I know, I just want to make life a little easier for her, give her one less thing to worry about while she fights the fight of her life, I honestly love her so much, she is so selfless, and would never ask for help, that’s why I’m here to ask for her,
