Bokuto is my 5-year-old mini pin mix, and he means everything to me. When he was just 6 months old, he broke his arm, and since then, it’s been a long journey of surgeries and recovery. Last year, Bokuto had surgery to remove pins from his arm, and just two weeks later, he needed another operation to repair a tendon that had slipped off his bone. Despite all these challenges, Bokuto has always been brave and loving, bringing so much joy and comfort to my life.

On January 6th, Bokuto injured his arm again. After meeting with the surgeon, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to amputate his arm to give him the best chance at a pain-free life. The medical bills have been overwhelming, and I am still paying off his previous procedures. As much as I want to give Bokuto everything he needs, the financial burden is heavy, and I need help to make sure he gets the care he deserves.

I am reaching out for support with Bokuto’s surgery as part of my birthday wish.
